Advanced Engagement Templates
Last month, we launched Advanced Engagements, a smarter and more flexible way to design and build your surveys. To make these engagements even more creative and intuitive, we're excited to introduce three new Advanced Engagement Templates! These templates are designed to help you focus on key moments in the employee lifecycle:
- Employee Onboarding: Welcome new hires and set them up for success.
- Employee Stay: Foster a positive work environment and encourage retention.
- Employee Exit: Gain valuable insights from departing employees.

See when your Automated Reminders are scheduled to be sent
Note: This feature is only available for accounts with the E360 package - please reach out to your ThoughtExchange representative for more information.
In this release, we’ve improved visibility into automated reminders. For engagements that use unique email links, have a deadline, and have automated reminders enabled, reminders are sent midway through your engagement and again two days before the deadline. Previously, there was no way for you to visualize when these reminders went out to your participants. With this update, once your engagement is scheduled or launched, you’ll be able to see exactly when reminders are scheduled to go out in the engagement Summary:

Contacts Page: User Interface Enhancements
In this release, we’ve improved the user interface for your Contacts page, making it cleaner and more intuitive to manage your contact lists.
We've made it super simple to create a New Contact list. Click the "+ New List" button and give your list a custom name.
See more details on Contact Upload here.
Now, when you're setting up how you want to upload contacts, you'll see a dropdown for configuration types including Manual, SFTP, and S3. Each option will present the specific authentication details or access codes you need for a secure upload. Additionally, you can choose between "Append" to add new contacts to an existing list, or "Overwrite" to replace the entire list. To learn how to use the dropdown, have a look at the video below:

We've added checkboxes during the upload process for "opt-out" and "assignment," giving you more control over your contact data right from the start.

After uploading your contacts, you can now edit basic information directly within each row for quick adjustments. Learn more about this feature, by looking at the video below:

Enhanced Survey Results Display
This month's release includes a minor but impactful update to how survey results are displayed. For survey questions using single select, multiple select, or dropdown with 15 or more answer choices, the results will now be presented in a table format instead of a bar chart.
Why the Change to Tables?
This shift to a table view offers several advantages for analyzing your survey data:
- Integrated Filtering: Each table comes with its own built-in filter, allowing you to quickly narrow down and focus on specific data points.
- Easy Export: You can now export the entire table to a CSV file for further analysis or record-keeping.
- Customizable View: The tables provide flexibility to hide, show, or resize columns, letting you tailor the display to your preferences.
- Improved Navigation: Tables are now paginated, showing 20 items by default, with the option to display all entries for comprehensive review.
- Visual Heatmap: The table functions as a heatmap, using darker hues of blue to visually indicate a higher percentage. This provides an at-a-glance understanding of your data's distribution.

Improved Email Deliverability for Engagement Invitations
We’ve made some behind-the-scenes upgrades to help ensure your ThoughtExchange invitation emails land in your participants’ inboxes, and not their spam folders. These updates include clearer subject lines featuring your organization’s name, a simplified one-click unsubscribe option, Gmail-friendly formatting, and ongoing deliverability checks.
We’re also actively maintaining email authentication standards (like SPF, DKIM, and DMARC) to protect your sender reputation and ensure your messages are trusted.
