Language Translation in Advanced Engagements
In this release, we’ve introduced Advanced Translation Settings, providing leaders with flexible, powerful tools to localize content for global teams. Whether you need the speed of instant machine translation or the precision of manual editing, these new features ensure your message is clear and consistent in every language.
Managing Translation Settings
To manage your preferences, navigate to the Settings button within any Advanced Engagement and select Language and Delivery. You can choose between two distinct methods:
- Auto Translation for Participants: This feature uses Google Translate to instantly localize content. The toggle is set to “ON” by default, placing a language selector on the participant's ‘Welcome screen’ so they can choose their preferred language immediately.
- Custom Translation for Participants: For higher precision, leaders can select specific languages from a dropdown menu in the Builder to open a translation table. This provides a high-level view of your translation progress across all selected languages.

Precision Editing and Refinement
For engagements requiring manual translation of technical terms or unique variables, the following tools are available:
- Side-by-Side Editing: Clicking “Edit” opens a dedicated page where you can manually translate each text card. A real-time progress bar tracks your completion for each specific language.
- Preview and Refine: You can preview custom translations at any time. If a section is unfinished, the system temporarily fills gaps with Google Translate so you can verify the full flow. If a custom version is no longer needed, use the garbage icon to remove it and revert to auto-translate.
Key Update: We have added an “Auto Translate” button directly within the translation table. This allows leaders to instantly generate a baseline translation using Google Translate and then manually edit only the specific words or phrases that require a human touch.
Note on Validation: If a custom translation is left unfinished, a red dot will appear in settings and a banner will display within the engagement. This safeguard ensures you are aware of any pending work before launching.
Template Preview
In this release, we’ve introduced the new Template Preview button, a feature available within the Templates page to help leaders vet engagement content and flow before clicking create.
As a leader, you can access these templates by clicking the “+ Create” button or selecting the “Templates” module at the top of the navigation bar.
Exploring Template Details
When you click the “Learn More” button on a specific template, a dedicated details page will open to help you understand the survey's impact. This page includes:
- The total number of questions.
- Template Objective: A clear "About this Template" description.
- Suggested Cadence: Recommendations on how often to run the engagement.
- Full Question List: A complete view of all Engagement Questions included.
Interactive Template Preview
To see the engagement from the participant’s perspective, click the “Preview” button at the top of the Learn more page. This opens a new tab where you can interact with the engagement exactly as a participant would, ensuring the tone and logic meet your expectations.

UX Enhancements: Resizable Right-Hand Panel
In this release, we’ve improved the Advanced Engagement Builder by giving leaders more control over their workspace. Leaders can now manually adjust the layout to better suit their screen size and workflow.
Key Update
The vertical midpoint divider between the flowchart and the right-hand panel is now adjustable. By hovering over the divider and dragging it left or right, the right-hand panel will automatically resize to provide a better view of settings or content.
Visual Reference
To maintain full visibility while resizing the panel, use the magnifier tools in the lower-left corner to scale the flowchart accordingly.

Updates to Online Policies (January 2026)
Effective January 29, we will roll out updates to some of our online policies:
