Expansion of Supported Languages
In this release, we will be expanding our supported languages feature, which will enable you to manually translate your engagements into 120 languages, reaching every major language spoken in your organization. In our previous release, we introduced the first iteration of this feature, which allowed custom translations for all but 13 of the languages supported by Google Translate. With the 7.5 release, we have now expanded support to include all 120 languages.
Note: This expansion is only available for Engagement360 users.
Configure Favorability Scores during engagement design
We're excited to introduce a simplified way for you to manage Favorability scores. Favorability scores are now pre-set and editable during the engagement design phase, allowing leaders to configure scores upfront, saving time and reducing errors when reviewing results later. Favorable answers, such as "Agree" and "Strongly agree," are automatically defaulted for most questions. For questions that require different settings (e.g. Negatively valenced questions, such as “How likely will you NOT be going to this school in the next year?”), adjustments can be made directly during the engagement design. This feature simplifies the process, ensuring your results are accurate and ready to go from the start.
Interview Improvements
We've made several key improvements to the Interview creation stepper, making it more intuitive and customizable. Additionally, we've introduced new AI controls, allowing you to decide whether participants will see AI summaries during the Interview. You can also control which summaries participants will see during the Interview: a group summary (a summary of other users’ thoughts) or a personal summary (a summary of their own thoughts).
Default to Anonymous Privacy Setting for New Engagements (COMING SOON)
In an upcoming update set for the end of August, new engagements will now default to the anonymous privacy setting. This enhancement ensures that customers run engagements with the appropriate privacy setting, particularly when accessing participant response downloads without personally identifiable information (PII).
When creating an engagement, selecting the privacy type (Classic, Anonymous, or Confidential) is crucial. Previously, the default setting was Classic, which often required you to manually switch to ˆ if you wanted to access participant response exports. However, privacy settings are nested under Settings > Privacy, causing some leaders to overlook this change.
With this update, if your account has the Anonymous privacy setting enabled, all new engagements will automatically default to Anonymous, streamlining the process and eliminating the need for manual adjustments.
Note: This change will take effect for E+ and E360 customers who have the “Anonymous engagements” feature enabled
Compare survey results across multiple engagements
If you have the Advanced Survey Comparison Tool enabled for your account (for accounts with the Engagement360 package), you can now compare results from multiple survey engagements in a single view. This comparison matrix provides a comprehensive analysis across different engagements, allowing you to track overall changes, favorability scores, and satisfaction scores. This tool is ideal for gaining a broader perspective on how different engagements perform relative to each other.
Analyze Demographic Data in Results
An update to the Upload Contacts feature now allows you to analyze, filter, share, and compare survey results using the demographic data of participants imported from your Contact Upload. This enhancement allows you to streamline your surveys by reducing the number of questions while still generating insightful graphs, filters, and comparison segments.
Details
Notably, this functionality is no longer linked to privacy settings (Anonymous, Confidential). If you have the Upload Contacts feature enabled in your account (available exclusively with the Engagement 360 package), you can now leverage this capability in your engagements, regardless of the privacy setting. Note that this enhancement requires that your engagement utilizes unique links or code access.
A New Way to Print Thought Reports (COMING SOON)
We are updating how users can print thought reports as part of our ongoing efforts to enhance our software performance. The “Print” button on thought reports will be removed in a forthcoming update. Instead, users can print these reports using their browser's built-in print options. This change ensures a smoother experience while maintaining the ability to generate PDF versions of reports.
