Come one, come all and feast your eyes on ThoughtExchange Version 5.6. Marvel at the new and exciting features we’ve added or tweaked to make building, running, and analyzing your Exchanges easier than ever.
New in this release:
Themer Improvements
You spoke up and we listened! We’ve made a few changes to how the Theme tool works based on feedback from Exchange leaders. Thoughts can now be removed from a theme simply by clicking the “x” icon on the theme name next to the thought. Multiple thoughts can be unthemed at once by selecting the thoughts and clicking the “Unassign” button, which we’ve moved to a convenient location just above the thought list.
Improved User Stats in Admin Settings
In our last release, we made some changes to simplify the process of managing who has access to which features in a workspace. In this update, we’ve continued that work by giving administrators more information about how their leaders are using ThoughtExchange. The “Users” tab of the “Admin Settings” menu now provides summary statistics for the number of administrators and leaders in a particular workspace as well as the activity and permissions assigned to each leader.
Default Settings for Multi-Language Exchanges
Lastly, we’ve made a small but potentially impactful change to the default settings for new Exchanges. All new Exchanges will have the ‘additional participation languages’ options turned on. We’ve made this change to help foster more inclusive Exchanges and to simplify the setup process for leaders (a few less clicks is never a bad thing).
Please note that this change is only with respect to the auto-translation feature offered through Google Translate and does not pertain to ThoughtExchange’s other, fully-integrated languages (French and Spanish). To learn more about language settings click here.
If you have questions about this update or anything else ThoughtExchange, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We love hearing from you.
