It’s a brand new year, and to start the decade off in style, our resolution is to continue to make engaging with your community easy and effective. The key to any successful resolution is making small changes that lead to big outcomes—and that’s just what we’ve done in version 4.6.5.
Our latest update goes live on the evening of January 23, 2020 and includes a couple of changes that we feel will make your Thoughtexchange experience just a little more seamless.
Signup is no longer required by default
Easily customize your Wordclouds
Signup is no longer required by default
One of the most important decisions to make when creating an exchange is whether or not to require people to sign in. Signing in gives participants a smoother experience when they return to an exchange many times on multiple devices (because they don’t have to start over every time). But some people would rather not create accounts or use their email addresses.
We’ve heard from you that most of the time, you don’t need registration to be required—so that’s now the default setting. Participants can still choose to log in and leaders can still make it a requirement by toggling the Signup or login required option to “yes”.
Easily customize your Wordclouds
We’ve received a ton of great feedback about the ability to create Wordclouds in the Discover Dashboard. We’ve also gotten some terrific suggestions about how we can help you make them even better.
In this update, we’ve added the ability to hide selected words and easily change the color scheme of your word cloud. Now with just a few clicks, you can customize the perfect Wordcloud to include in a report, presentation or email.
If you have any questions about these or any other features, don’t hesitate to reach out. We would love to hear from you! You can check out our Help Site or drop us a line at help@thoughtexchange.com.
