DIY Multi-Language Exchanges

Hello, Hola and Bonjour!

The most significant upgrade this time around will allow you to reach more participants than ever before by creating your own multi-language exchanges. Now, as you build an exchange, you can select the Languages tab to add French and Spanish. English is always enabled. You can also activate the Support additional languages option to allow participation in over 100 languages via Google Translate and our Thoughtexchange Web Messaging App.

Note: You can only make changes to the language settings prior to launching an exchange.

Our new multilingual flare now extends to the Discover Dashboard where you can publish summary reports in English, French or Spanish.

We’ve also made it easier for participants to choose their preferred language with the Change language dropdown menu on the introduction page. So there’s no need to manage multiple links or browser settings.

Leader Comments Everywhere

We’ve made it easier than ever to respond to your participants’ ideas.

Leaders requested that the comments they add to thoughts be visible everywhere  those thoughts appear. Well, now they are!

Everywhere you view thoughts, from your Quick Results tab to the Discover Dashboard, you can now see your comments and the option to add more – just another example of fantastic customer feedback leading to new features. Keep those ideas coming!

Machine Moderation (Beta feature)

Community moderation is a great way to get thoughts into your exchange quicker. However, many leaders like the peace of mind that comes with having our moderators review each thought before it goes public. Machine Moderation is a nifty new way to get the benefits of community moderation while still keeping some of that safety net.

Our machine moderator reviews thoughts before they enter an exchange and flags any that contain bad language, inappropriate content, or people’s names. As a leader, you can then approve or reject these thoughts in your Discover Dashboard. We’re still in testing mode, but if you’re curious and planning a low-risk exchange (e.g. a staff exchange about a non-contentious topic), we’re happy to let you take Machine Moderation for a spin.
