Optional/Skippable survey questions
We’re introducing the ability to make survey questions optional and skippable upon popular demand!
You can now decide if survey questions are optional or mandatory for participants to complete. Each survey question now comes with an ‘Answer required’ toggle. You can use this to make survey questions optional during participation.
When the ‘Answer required’ toggle is OFF for a survey question, it will appear as (optional) for participants.
Conversely, when the ‘Answer required’ toggle is ON for a survey question, it will be displayed with an asterisk:
Survey question name change
After this release, you will notice that the widely used Multiple choice and Checkbox options are gone. But fret not! They’re still there. We’ve renamed them for more clarity.
-
Multiple choice is now ‘Single select’
-
Checkbox is now ‘Multiple select’
Note: Apart from the name change, there is NO change to these question types.
Multi-select Participation Group filters
With this release, you can now filter to multiple Participation groups in Results pages (except for the Advisor and Article pages), allowing for more detailed analyses of demographic groups in your surveys.
Participant stats card
The Participant stats card is now available for all engagements!
Previously available only on the survey analysis page for invite-only surveys, we’ve released the Participant stats card for all engagements, regardless of invitation type! This feature lets you see how many people have started and completed the survey portion of an engagement.

Interactive Web Reports: User-controlled filter
In addition to the ability to pre-filter an Interactive Web Report, you can now share a report with filter controls for survey questions. This means that viewers can choose how they want to group or separate the results based on those survey questions.
This functionality empowers participants to draw personalized insights from the results. With the ability to filter by questions such as school or team, they can better determine how the data relates to them, their needs, and their context, putting the power of interpretation directly in their hands.
