ThoughtExchange version 6.8 is coming your way on Thursday, August 10 @ 8PM Pacific. In this update we’ve added some great new features that allow leaders to quickly compare their results over time, done some streamlining of existing features, and retired a few others.
New in this release:
Engagement Statistics Comparison
When you’re working on long-term engagement projects over the course of a few months or more, understanding how the level of engagement among your participants has changed over time can be critical in planning your next steps. In this release we’ve built that information into your Engagement statistics. Now, when you filter your engagements by a specific date range (ex. the past three months), you will also see how the core statistics for that period compare with those of the time frame immediately preceding it.
Changes Over Time in Survey Question Comparison Tool
Keeping the ball rolling with making your comparisons easier, in this release we’ve also added a new feature to the Survey Question Comparison Tool that allows you compare responses to your favorability score survey questions across multiple engagements. Simply select your engagements and the question you are interested in to see the change in response proportions.
Mandatory Title for Surveys
As we expand our suite of tools allowing you to compare different engagements, it becomes increasingly important for you to be able to accurately identify those engagements in dropdown menus and dialogue boxes. To help with that, we’ve made the previously optional Engagement Title feature mandatory for surveys (for Exchanges it remains optional, but the title will default to the Exchange question inside analysis tools). Giving each of your surveys a clear, descriptive title (that will only be used on the backend to keep things organized and NOT be seen by your participants) will help you find what you need when you need it and significantly reduce head-scratching when new leaders step in to work with results.
New Differences Visualization
To help make it easier to draw quick conclusions in the Differences tool (which automatically compares groups of participants with similar rating patterns in your Exchanges) we’ve added an interactive Venn diagram that will allow leaders to quickly see an AI generated summary of the ideas that are uniting and dividing participants. Simply hover your cursor over any part of the visualization to get a compass bearing for your next deep-dive into your results.
Note: AI summaries in the Differences tool are only available after an Exchange is closed.
Change to Results Export
In a small change to help make the Results Dashboard more visually streamlined, we’ve moved the Export button (which allows leaders to download .png files of the different visualizations) for the various tools into a menu icon that lives in the upper right corner of each section. Same great feature, less to look at when you don’t need it.
Farewell Discover Dashboard
As leaders continue to embrace the Results Dashboard as the place to dig into their results, it’s time for the Discover Dashboard (its predecessor) to ride off into the sunset. We thank the Discover Dashboard for its years of exemplary service, and wish it a happy retirement. Don’t worry, though; everything leaders loved about the Discover Dashboard (and much more) is available in the Results Dashboard.
If you have any questions about these or any other features, drop us a line at help@thoughtexchange.com, we’d love to hear from you!
