Optional registration

Even if an Exchange doesn't require signing up, participants can optionally create an account. They can then drop back in at any time and, since we'll know who they are, they can see all the great ideas and Exchanges they've been a part of, and participate in any active Exchanges they've been invited to. Consider it a gift -- ‘tis the season, after all!

The key benefits of registering will be made known while participating, but we won’t hold anyone back from participating in an exchange where signing up is optional. Leaders: you’ll still have the ability to require that users sign up to participate in your exchanges, should you so choose.

User onboarding and navigation changes

We’re constantly striving to make the product more intuitive for people, and this release is no exception! Expect to see some additional splashes of orange with even more helpful hints, to make participation all that much quicker and easier.

Notable bug fixes

We’d like to claim that we don’t have any listed because there aren’t any - but they’re all under the hood and wholly uninteresting to read about. We can’t even think of anything terribly clever to say about them, so we’ll use the stock “bug fixes and performance improvements” catch-all for them.
