If a participant reports not receiving an invitation email, work through the steps below before resending.
1. Check the email address on file
- Open the engagement and go to the Manage tab.
- Search for the participant by name or email.
- Confirm the email address is correct. If it is wrong, update it and resend.
2. Ask the participants to check their spam or junk folder
Invitation emails occasionally end up in spam. Ask the participant to search for an email from ThoughtExchange and mark it as not spam.
3. Check the delivery status
- In the Manage tab, find the participant's row.
- Check the Status column. A delivery error may indicate the email address is invalid or the inbox is full.
4. Resend the invitation
You have the option to resend an invitation email, which would contain the same unique link as in the original email.
- Click the three dots (⋯) next to the participant's name.
- Select Resend invitation.
5. Other options
You can also edit their email address (in the case that the current email is incorrect) or provide them with an access code tied directly to their user. Make sure to provide them with the public link which is available in the grapes menu in the Participant list.
Note: Resending an invitation does not invalidate the participant's original link. If they find the original email later, it will still work.
