The Engage with AI card allows leaders to direct the AI to process participant feedback in real-time—whether to acknowledge, summarize, score, analyze, or generate follow-up questions. This feature transforms static responses into dynamic data that can be used to personalize the survey flow.
To utilize these capabilities, add an Engage with AI card to your builder flow. There are four specialized options available:
- Acknowledge
- Summary
- Scoring
- Analyze
The Engage with AI card functions as an internal instruction set for the AI engine and does not automatically display text to the participant. The AI’s output is stored as a variable, which must be manually inserted into a subsequent message or question card to be visible.
Engage with AI Card: Acknowledge
Instructs the AI to write a tailored acknowledgement of a participant’s open-ended comments. This is ideal for empathetically recognizing emotional or sensitive qualitative feedback.
Engage with AI Card: Summary
Generates a concise summary of participant responses. Leaders can set specific length parameters—by word, sentence, or paragraph—to ensure participants feel heard without the length overwhelming them.
Engage with AI Card: Scoring
Tasks the AI with rating a response on a scale of 1 to 10 based on complexity, impact, or sentiment (positive/negative). Leaders can then use these numerical ratings to trigger conditional branching.
Engage with AI Card: Analyze
Directs the AI to determine if a response satisfies a specific condition (e.g., "Did the participant mention safety?"). The AI returns a True or False value, which can be used to route participants down different paths.
