The Asset Owner is a new, specialized role within Discover. A user must have this role to manage files within the account.
What an Asset Owner Can Do
The Asset Owner has exclusive permissions related to file management:

Collection Management
While a leader can create, view, or delete Collections, the Asset Owner role is specifically needed to use the uploaded files (assets) within those Collections.
