At 10:30 AM PDT on July 12, 2021, the procedure to change configuration settings resulted in production web servers reloading. Normally, the reload is done without service interruption. Unfortunately, the configuration change had an error, resulting in unresponsive behaviour of the ThoughtExchange software applications for 26 minutes. ThoughtExchange's Development team was alerted via monitoring software and took action to correct the issue quickly. The root cause of the problem has been identified and we are actively making changes.
