To help you summarize and review the feedback you've collected—whether in ThoughtExchange or another source—you can save time and begin reporting valuable insights using ThoughtExchange's AI tools. Here are three powerful ways to use our Article and Advisor tools.
1. Upload qualitative feedback to quickly analyze and uncover insights: Do you have a large collection of qualitative data that feels overwhelming to sort through? Maybe you’ve conducted school observations across multiple sites and want to identify key themes. Or perhaps you have a document full of interview notes that you’ve been putting off reviewing. With ThoughtExchange, you can easily upload and analyze qualitative data using the import function. Here’s how:
- Add the topic(s) to the first row of a spreadsheet.
- Paste each response into a separate row.
- Download and save the file as a CSV.
- Import the file into ThoughtExchange and change the question type to “comment box”
- Select Article and/or Advisor to start analyzing

2. Save time by letting Advisor draft important documents for you: How long does it usually take to write a board report? What about a staffing and human resources update? If you're revising your mission and vision statement based on Exchange results, why not let Advisor handle the first draft? Or follow up on an engagement by asking Advisor to write follow-up survey questions diving deeper into a specific theme. There are many possibilities beyond the prompts. For instance, ask Advisor to draft:
- Strategic Plan Progress Update
- Curriculum and Instruction Highlights
- School Climate and Well-Being Insight
- Technology and Digital Learning Update
- Staff Culture Summary
3. Add Context to align district priorities: With Advisor, in your ThoughtExchagne results section, you can effortlessly do this by pasting relevant information into your prompt or using the add-in Context feature (for E360 users). Simply paste as much context as possible into the text box or select Add Context if you have access to E360.
