First Time Signing in (For Leaders)

1. Click on the engagement link or scan the QR code, and you will be redirected to https://my.thoughtexchange.com/lead/
2. Go to the bottom of the page and select First Time Here? Sign Up. 

3. You will then be at the log-in screen, where you will be asked to input your email address

4. The platform will email you a six-digit code (the email will be sent by confirmations@thoughtexchange.com)

5. Retrieve the code from your email (Don’t forget to check your spam folder) and copy and paste the 6-digit code into the spaces provided 

6. Create a password and get started 

(For future uses of ThoughtExchange, you'll simply need your email address and password to log in)

Troubleshooting 

Sometimes, you will be prompted to enter a 9-digit code. This is an identification code. When a participant tries to participate in an engagement, they may be asked to enter a 9-digit code. This code is used to direct them to the right engagement. If they were sent a link to an Engagement, it should contain a string of nine digits at the end. For example, a link might look like this: https://my.thoughtexchange.com/scroll/123-456-789. In this case, the 9-digit identification code for the exchange is 123-456-789. (Note: this is just an example 9-digit code)

However, sometimes errors can occur when your browser tries to copy or load a link, and you might be asked for the 9-digit participation code that you were never sent.
