Note: This article is meant to assist exchange leaders who have opted to require their participants to login with an email address and password before participating in an exchange.
Here is some example text to help participants with their login process. Feel free to copy the text and edit to suit your needs.
Login instructions example messaging:
When you arrive at my.thoughtexchange.com you will see a Welcome screen with an arrow to review the steps or an option to skip. You will then be at the log-in screen where you do the following:
- Input your email address and it will email you a six digit code. Don’t forget to check your spam folder.
- Retrieve the code from your email and copy and paste it into the spaces provided on the Thoughtexchange page
- Create a password to use for future logins with Thoughtexchange
OR
- You can skip the sign-up process and log in using your Google account by clicking Sign up with Google
Once you have entered your password you'll be taken into the exchange to participate. For future uses of Thoughtexchange, you'll simply need your email address and password to login.
