Thoughtexchange is an incredible tool for gathering and actioning feedback from groups of any size; but like any tool, you get your best results once you've learned how to use it.
If you need a hand, feel free to drop us a line at email@example.com.
While you're starting out, our Help Site is a great resource. It is full of tips, tricks, and video tutorials. You can also use this slide deck to communicate about Thoughtexchange and for your own learning. The purpose of this article is to point you towards some of our handiest resources.
Invitations and Reminders
Once you sign up for the Keeping People Connected program and request your free COVID-19 exchange(s), you will receive an email containing invitation link(s) to your exchange(s) and links giving you leader access to the Discover Dashboard (results page) for each exchange.
Once you're ready to have people participate, send out an invitation email containing the link(s) to your exchange(s). One of the most important parts of running a successful exchange is having participants rate around 30 thoughts each. To achieve this, it is helpful to also send between 1 and 3 reminder emails while the exchange is open, encouraging folks to come back and rate new ideas.
If you would like some help putting together an invitation email and/or reminder emails, check out this article which includes sample text for each.
Learning from the Pros
Whether you’ve run a handful of successful exchanges or are just starting out, there is always something to be learned from Thoughtexchange Coaches who have been at it for years, through dozens of exchanges and thousands of thoughts. Consider dropping in for one of our Master Class or Getting Started virtual events to learn about important topics and ask your burning questions.
You can also check out our library of on-demand Master Classes to see what you missed.
