my.thoughtexchange.com is the new place to be
my.thoughtexchange.com is now the place to go to check in on your Exchanges or to start a new one. (Don’t worry beta.thoughtxchange.com will redirect you if you forget)

An unfortunate side effect is that everyone will need to re-register because of this change. But fortunately, it’s easy to do and should only be needed once if you work primarily on the same device.

Leaving beta means you’ll need a passcode
You’ll now be asked to enter a passcode to create an Exchange. If you’re already involved as a beta customer you should have received the code to continue leading great conversations. If not, please reach out to feedback@thoughtexchange.com.

Some changes to where you find things 
•  Three simple lines in the top left corner of any screen - Opens a menu which allows participants and leaders to access settings, help and logout

•  A new navigation slider at the top of an Exchange allows you to move between Share, Star and Discover when participating (Thanks to Uber for the idea!)
AND
•  Three simple dots on the right side of the home screen - Opens a menu for leaders to participate, edit, notify, stop, reopen, create a report and archive

One type of Exchange with an option
We removed the template option when you create an Exchange to simplify the process of getting started. Instead, leaders now have the choice for allowing participation without registration. Great for live events when you want people participating quickly.

Onboarding participants got a whole lot better!
Bye-bye awkward Star step onboarding and hello awesome welcome carousel! Now at the start of an Exchange, participants get a welcome carousel that explains the stages of Thoughtexchange - Share, Star and Discover.

Wrapping up your Exchange with a report
A key activity in the Discover step is sharing back your learning. With one click you can now create a wrap-up report where you can feature the top 5, 10 or 20 thoughts. Add your leader comments to those top thoughts, provide a message thanking participants and letting them know what you're doing with the results and you're good to go and share your report.

Hosting in Canada
We now provide Canadian data hosting for Canadian public organizations. Pretty great, eh!?

A Final Note
Our Enterprise customers that work closely with our service team for project design, moderation, and analysis among the other great services we provide, will be happy to hear that they will be benefitting from the great, new mobile friendly look and workflow being introduced in this release.

We’ll be starting beta for our Enterprise customers with this release and working over the spring and summer to have the new features, workflow and logistics finalized in time for the Fall.
